U.S. Health and Human Resources announced on 1/20/22 that $103 million from the American Rescue Plan Funds will be awarded to improve the retention of health care workers and help respond to critical staffing needs by promoting mental health and wellness among health care workers. This year's challenge for Nurse Hackathon is how we can build a sustainable workforce of the future. Certainly, this issue is not new and it's a subject of conversation at nursing stations.
